Forgive me if this problem has already been addressed, but I just joined
the list and I was unable to find an answer in the web archive.
I installed the xfree86-rootless package with fink. It listed no problems
at installation. I also installed it from source with fink, with the same
results.
When I execute startx I get the following error.
dyld: xinit can't open library: /usr/X11R6/lib/libXmuu.1.dylib (No such
file or directory, errno = 2)
/usr/X11R6/bin/startx: line 117: 8086 Trace/BPT trap xinit
$client $clientargs -- $server $display $serverargs
Sure enough there's no library by that name in that location. I looked at
the makefile and found that there should be a libXmuu lib linked to that
one. I belive it didn't compile properly.
I'm running OS X.2
Thanks!

Bart: So finally, we're all in agreement about what's going on with
the adults. Milhouse?
Milhouse: [steps up to blackboard] Ahem. OK, here's what we've got: the
Rand Corporation, in conjunction with the saucer people --
Bart: Thank you.
Milhouse: -- under the supervision of the reverse vampires --
Lisa: [sighs]
Milhouse: -- are forcing our parents to go to bed early in a fiendish
plot to eliminate the meal of dinner. [sotto voce] We're
through the looking glass, here, people...
