Hi,

pil-1.1.4-1 did build for me, but there is another problem with it:
This package no longer installs header files in /sw/include/python2.2
But these are needed in order to build sketch-0.6.14-1.
So now I get this error message when building sketch:
...
looking for include dir for Imaging.h under /sw/include/python2.2
Imaging.h not found under /sw/include/python2.2 !
...
These files do exist for pil-1.1-2.13, and on that version sketch runs fine.

Regards,
Jens

Hmmm...it built for me. Judging from the symbol that it complained
about, I'd start by rebuilding freetype2.

The correct answer to this FAQ is to downgrade your freetype2 by doing "fink install freetype2-2.0.9-1". No need to rebuild, you already have the good deb.
