Hi Folks:

Does fink work on UFS?
of course, mine is on UFS

Is there any reason why any unix package ported via fink would not? (Say X-windows rootless, or aquaterm, ...).
yes there used to be a problem with UFS, you couldn't build xfree and perhaps other packages. But since I installed jaguar I haven't got any problems.

(The reason I am asking is someone said they were having trouble installing bltwish on UFS but I can't think of a reason why this would be the cause of the problem).
Sometimes, maintainers who have fink on HFS miss some case problem since, as you may know HFS is case-insensitive. For example fink might try to install a file named ChangeLog by calling it Changelog. This will work on HFS but not on UFS. If you're having such problems (or any other :-) just let the maintainer know.
