I installed both kpovmodeler and pov, and although they each run fine
independently (launched from the commandline), I can't get kpovmodeler
to invoke POV and generate either previews or renders. I get an error
"kpovmodeler: setgroups: Operation not permitted" in the terminal when
kpovmodeler tries to run pov.
I do have camera and light set properly; if I export a pov file I can
run pov in the command line and get the scene rendered. It just
doesn't execute from within povmodeler.
Also - I'm running this on an iBook/600/640, System 10.2.2, in
OroborOSX 0.8b2, XDarwin1.1, XFree86_4.2.0, from the commandline - not
invoking KDE. I actually tried running from inside KDE and it didn't
make a difference...
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
