Hello,
installing arts-dev 1.0.2-2 from source on OS10.1.5 / fink 0.4.1 leads
to a "undefined macro: AC_Dest" error from autoconf:
$> fink install arts-dev
[unpacking and patching work fine]
make -f Makefile.cvs
This Makefile is only for the CVS repository
This will be deleted before making the distribution

This problem has been reported before on the

but no work-around is given.
Some replies suggest that this might be due to autoconf v 2.54 (other
versions seem to work). However, arts-dev automatically upgrades to the
autoconf25 package even if one has downgraded to autoconf 2.13 before.
Can anyone confirm or invalidate this autoconf version explanation, and
does anyone have a suggestion on how to work around this problem ? If
more information is needed, please ask.

I just saw that there is a pre-compiled arts-dev 1.0.2 which can be
installed through dselect, so the above issue looses its urgency.
