Hello,

I recently followed instructions on fink.sourceforge.net regarding
replacement of fink's x11 packages with Apple's.Step 1: dpkg -r
-force--depends (xfree86 stuff here).Step 2: Download and install
Apple's X11 and SDK.Step 3: fink install system-xfree86.

Step 3 failed for some reason, and I hoped someone may help me figure out
why.The following terminal output may be relevant.

Apple's X11 seems to run fine (with existing programs, e.g. Lyx), but I
can't use fink to install any new packages because fink keeps asking to
install system-xfree86 and runs into the same issues as below.

btw, I'm running OSX.2.3.

 [computer:~] user% fink --version
 Package manager version: 0.11.1
 Distribution version: 0.5.0a.cvs
 [computer:~] user% fink install system-xfree86
 sudo /sw/bin/finkinstall system-xfree86

Thanks for any help.
