I checked this tab, and saw that only the http_proxy was set, so I manually added the ftp one, and FinkCommander works fine now, thanks for the answer.

But I'm surprised (and I told so to the developper of FinkCommander) that the settings in the Download tab (which seem to be copied from the fink.conf file) are not taken into account, and that only part of these settings is copied to the Environment tab.
