Hi!
Has anyone else had difficulty with kprinter? All of my compiles of
kdebase (both 3.0.x and 3.1 distrobutions) seem to produce kprinter
binaries that crash instantly:
[mpwd@Titan ~]$ kprinter
dyld: ./kprinter Undefined symbols:
__ZN12PrintWrapperC1Ev
Trace/BPT trap
Binary distributions don't seem to have this problem. I have
encountered this error with both Apple's X11 and fink's XFree86
distributions. In compilation, especially with Apple's distribution
installed, there are many warnings, most to the tune of:
ld: warning dynamic shared library: /usr/lib/libz.dylib not made a weak
library in output with MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET environment variable
set to: 10.1
I've been getting these errors on a G4 titanium laptop running 10.2.3
(upgraded from 10.2) with the december developer tools and apple's x11,
if any of this is any use. The missing Jaguar headers and cups-dev are
all installed, along with ESP ghostscript from linuxprinting.org
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Matt
