I managed to build the latest rc3 release of mplayer in fink
(after installing Ben Hines patch) and with hacking the old info and
patch files for the version mplayer-0.90rc2-1.info that are in the
/sw/fink/10.2/unstable/main/finkinfo/graphics directory. The only
thing I needed to change was the name and the link to the new file
and after placing the hacked file in the the /sw/fink/10.2/local/main/finkinfo
directory, the installation ran fine.

Now I can start mplayer in X11 and I have the nice X11 GUI
interface available for mplayer which is very handy. The only
problem I find is, that the film doesn't play in the X11 window
of the mplayer program, but in another, new window that
maybe is being generated by X11. For the rest mplayer itself
works perfect!! Is there any chance that the mplayer
patches or info files and those of mplayer-skin-default are
updated so that this problem can be overcome? Or anyone
has a suggestion on how to force mplayer to play in the
correct window? Mplayer is a very important program
for me and it would be great if a real good X11 port would
be available since the GUI on X11 of Mplayer is just great.
