Dear All:
I did a fink selfupdate-cvs and then a fink update-all. Fink merrily updated everything (mostly kde-base) and then failed when trying to compile kdevelop.

make: *** [all] Error 2

Failed: compiling kdevelop-3.0a2-1 failed
Do I need to force remove my older version of kdevelop and then try to reinstall?
Well, you didn't post the actual error, only the effects of it, so I can't really say, but if you want to see if it helps, do a selfupdate-cvs... 3.0a3 is in unstable now.
