Where are you getting this mozilla 1.3a package? As far as I'm aware, the last version that's available is 1.1.0. I tried updating msek's 1.1.0 package to 1.2.1 back in the day, and it broke in the same ways you're showing. In the case of mozilla, just changing the version number isn't enough. The packaging is going to have to be reworked, and that hasn't been done yet in Fink.

Thanks for the help guys; I'm going to look at it more too, it stands in
the way of a KDE upgrade too.
Nothing in KDE depends on mozilla at the moment... kdebindings did, but it is, in fact, broken, and has been removed from fink stable and unstable for now.
