Fink developers-
I just was installing Debian Linux under Virual PC, and it was/is a
*nightmare*. Even with the half-familiar dselect/apt-get, I got run around
in circles more times than I can count. X11 is *still* not working right.
Fink, even though it's based on the same tools and concepts, is much easier
to use. I appreciate all the work that has gone into this, and the fact that
most everything is 'update descriptions, download package, compile (if
source), install' with no hitches (90% of the time).
Thanks to all you guys for your hard work into making the excellent product.
I wish I could say that Debian went as smoothly...
