Anyone know anything about setting up USB networking on an iBook? Or using pppd to setup serial networking (presumably through a USB-to-serial converter)?
I know on my Linux box, I had to recompile the kernel to get the USB networking functionality. I was hoping that the Mac would either just do it (like it just does so many of the detailed items I used to have to worry about) or that the BSD kernel would be similarly configurable. But I'm having trouble finding information on how to proceed.
