I have no idea where that file came from, and I had deleted it before I got this message. I do know that it was a link, not an actual file. Removing it removed the problems.

Thanks to both for responding (oh I forgot that when I find something not working in fink I am suppose to flame and rant and call the developers incompetent. Halve their pay immediately!!!)

If you didn't do something to create this file yourself, then try using
"dpkg -S /sw/include/glib.h" to see if the package manager knows where
this file came from.
