It should work, provided that both systems are looking for the same
files (i.e. same trees enabled, both selfupdated-cvs about the same time
to make sure the .info and .patch files are the same--or you could copy
/sw/fink/10.2 over).

Are you sure you didn't put gnumeric-1.0.11.tar.gz on your second
machine instead?
