Hi:
Let's say that I want to change from KDE 3.1 to KDE-ssl 3.1.
It's possible? How can I do this?
run this:
sudo dpkg --force-depends -r kdelibs3-shlibs kdelibs3 kdelibs3-dev kdebase3-shlibs kdebase3 kdebase3-dev
fink install kdelibs3-ssl kdebase3-ssl
...while this is going on, your dpkg database will not be consistent, though, so you won't be able to do anything with apt or dselect. If you kept the .deb's around in /sw/fink/dists/ from building kde last time, you can do "sudo apt-get remove kdelibs3-shlibs" and then fink install whatever you want and it won't rebuild anything that it doesn't have to.
