I've just downloaded the newest XDarwin (4.3) from xdarwin.com/org and after manually installing the files off the CD,
it works fine, except that my wide selection of fonts have disappeared. I suspected that the fonts.dir files needed rebuilt, so I reinstalled all the fink packages that had to do with fonts, but I still do not have full font availability in X11 apps (pan, galeon, etc).
Perhaps all I have to do is go in and manually rebuild the fonts.dir file(s), and I'm sure I read how to do that "out there" somewhere, but I can't find it now. Can anyone help?
