The latest KDE packages that went into unstable had a bunch of fixes that should, in theory, make them compile and run properly regardless of what X11 server and/or freetype you have installed. They work for me, but I'd like feedback before moving them to stable.
If anyone has had problems with the 3.1.2-2 packages, please let me know.
I'm aware that the koffice i18n is still broken, I will probably leave koffice 1.3 back in unstable if I move things over (there's a new 1.3 beta due in the next week or two), but at least if I get no major reports of problems still standing, the rest of KDE 3.1.2 will be available in the next bindist.
