I would suggest a separate distribution system for Qt/Mac and KDE/Mac (okay I just made up the latter) based ports, perhaps installing stuff in /Library/KDE and /Applications (everything could be built with the prefix /Library/KDE and the Apps moved to /Applications/Appname/Contents/MacOS/Appname in some kind of post install script.


If darwinports has better support for .app bundles, it may be the better place for this, but we will have to wait and see.
