Pressing Ctrl-C gives me the prompt:

^C### execution of curl failed, exit code 2
 Downloading the file "gnupg-1.2.1.tar.gz" failed.

 (1) Give up
 (2) Retry

Option 1 stops fink, option 2 just tries curl again at the same location.

Other thoughts?

Usually the file is mirrored at other places, but in this case isn't, so no, sorry. Maybe the maintainer would have other thoughts? (fink describe gnupg)

FWIW, however, I cannot access the file either.

OK, I got a copy of the file I need from ftp.gnupg.ca. Where do I put it to make Fink think that it already has the file so it can move forwards?
