For clarity: what version of the Developer Tools did you install? If it wasn't the December 2002 version, you should install it.

Also, another issue: what do you do if fink (even after updating via cvs) thinks you need an old version? In the case of pyslsk-1.2.1.tar.gz, for example, that file seems to have been deleted entirely from the Web. You can only get 1.2.2.
