Have you tried rebuilding some of the dependencies, like libxml2?
I did a "rebuild" and "reinstall" of libxml2. It appears to have helped greatly -- scrollkeeper now works without bus error :)
# sudo scrollkeeper-update -q

However, now I get some other errors on trying to install. Do I also need to rebuild libxml2-shlibs?
