That "dynamic modules are not supported" message sounds ominous. Do you have dlcompat and its splitoffs installed?<snip>

I have dlcompat 20030629-3 (and -dev and -shlibs) installed. As far as I'm aware, evolution is the only thing that generates the "dynamic modules not supported" errors; it seems like a problem of that magnitude should be affecting other apps as well.
If only more programs supported 'make test' ;)
