Recently I have experienced several crashes when using KDE installed through fink. I am using the latest versions from cvs and Mac OS X 10.2.6 + xfree installed through fink. Basically, KDE hangs, I can hear the HD spinning and crunching, but everything is locked up. I cannot even switch back to Aqua to see what process might be going on - I have to force-reboot the Mac (G4 TiBook). I trashed the (invisible) kde files in my home directory, and the problems seemed to be gone for a while but they returned quickly.
Has anyone else experience this, and if so, is there a way to fix it? Is there a log file I could check to see what could be the problem?
