As I see it works for some and not for others, is there some remedy to this or do I just have to wait until Fink decides to update again?
I did notice one thing, its set to run the su command as my username, mothra.
Since su effectively makes you root could it be that I do not have root enabled so thats why its causing problems?
Although Its let me update it so far with no problems.. Its just been in the last week or so that it doesnt work..
I can see my router sending and recieving while its trying to update so I know its at least communicating with the cvs server.
Is there anyway I can go back and redo the cvs-update settings so I can tell it to run stuff as root instead of as me or does that really matter in this case?
