This used to be called the "master mirror" and was thought to have a regularly updated collection of all the source files for Fink. Fink used to have code that searched this mirror, too, as one of the proposed mirrors, and there is still a field in the fink configure file /sw/etc/fink.conf where you can say whether this mirror is searched first, last, or not at all.

Unfortunately, it has fallen into disrepair. It is only updated about once a month, and the code in fink that uses it seems to have been disactivated. I don't know why; it seemed to have been a good idea.
