I've tried to launch:

fink selfupdate-cvs

and it is as is:

sudo /sw/bin/fink selfupdate-cvs
Password:

I will now run the cvs command to retrieve the latest package descriptions.
The 'su' command will be used to run the cvs command as the user 'mylogin'.
After that, the core packages will be updated right away; you should then
update the other packages using commands like 'fink update-all'.

su mylogin -c 'cvs -z3 update -d -P'

for about half an hour. I've never seen that before.

I've got those processes:

mylogin 23519 0.0 0.3 4388 3384 p1 S+ 7:06PM 0:00.37 perl -w /sw/bin/fink selfupdate-cvs
root 23521 0.0 0.3 4664 3584 p1 S+ 7:06PM 0:00.91 perl -w /sw/bin/fink selfupdate-cvs
root 23523 0.0 0.1 13936 588 p1 S+ 7:06PM 0:00.38 su mylogin -c cvs -z3 update -d -P
mylogin 23524 0.0 0.1 5872 636 p1 S+ 7:06PM 0:00.09 -su -c cvs -z3 update -d -P (tcsh)
mylogin 23541 0.0 0.1 16532 1472 p1 S+ 7:06PM 0:00.66 cvs -z3 update -d -P

Not sure if it is related but yesterday I launched the same command and g77-3.4-20030827 was updated. The day before yesterday, g77 was also updated, I don't remember which version though.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
