Okay,
First I wanted Kmail. Then I wanted Evolution. Finally got evolution and am
satisfied (outside of the problems with syncing with Palm Tungsten T). I,
unfortunately, have an email in my Kmail "mailbox" that I need to get hold of.
I can't, however, because even after updating to Qt3-3.1.2-5 and Kmail 3.1.3, I
am still getting the "bus error"! This is quite frustrating. Every other kde
program works just perfectly (outside of Konqueror being unbelievably slow vs.
Konqueror under Linux).
If no one has a solution for the "bus error", can you at least tell me how to
get the email? I can't seem to access it in Mail or Evolution. Any help would
be wonderful :-)
You could try updating to the qt 3.2.1 package in unstable, although I can't guarantee that will fix it. If I recall correctly, though, kmail's mailboxes are either standard mbox or maildir folders (I don't recall which). You should, in theory, be able to just point evolution at them locally and then copy the mail over to their final resting place.
I believe you can set kmail to use either.
