I've seen the talk of the (experimental?) feature for updating using rsync....
Is this a feature that can be freely switched back and forth, using selfupdate-cvs and selfupdate-rsync, or are there more settings that would need to be changed to do so? Would there be risk of screwing up fink by switching (and potentially switching back again)? This is the third day where all I've gotten are connection errors when I try updating via cvs...but the list overall seems quiet about it, so I don't know if it's me or just a small number of us or if the list members just aren't talking about it...maybe fink is getting too popular :-) -Bart -- ********************************************************************** Microsoft: What trolls think lives under their beds... 1:40pm up 67 days, 20:51, 2 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.09 I heard Microsoft improved the time it takes to reboot Windows XP. I wonder why this is a touted feature?...hmm... ********************************************************************** ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
