I am trying to get R working with fink, and it is going Ok so far. The problem that I am having is with the display.
i am using the bash shell. R can't display anything by itself. I I try "export DISPLAY=:0.0", it tries to open X11 to display a histogram,
but then I get this error:

Error in X11(display, width, height, pointsize, gamma, colortype, maxcubesize, :
unable to start device X11
In addition: Warning message:
unable to open connection to X11 display`'
Anyone using R? Any tips on what the problem is here?
