Hello,
Does anyone know why the current raster3d in unstable has broken
tiff support. As best as I can tell the problem seems to be that the
tiff library in fink doesn't support LZW compression. When I try to
render a tiff from a raster.in file I get errors like...
LZW compression is not available to due to Unisys patent enforcement.
Compression algorithm does not support random access.
This is all very confusing since I thought the LZW patent was expired
already. Thanks in advance for any information on resolving this
problem.
