I'm under the impression that some files are corrupted in my /sw
directory.

Here is the error message:
% fink update-all
sudo /sw/bin/fink  update-all
Information about 2818 packages read in 5 seconds.

fink needs help picking an alternative to satisfy a virtual dependency. The
candidates:

(1)      pango1-xft1-dev: I18N text handling system: for XFree86 (<< 4.3)
(2)      pango1-xft2-dev: I18N text handling system: for XFree86 (>= 4.3)

Pick one: [1] 1
Failed: Internal error: node for system-xfree86 already exists

How could I know which file is corrupted and how could I repair it ?

Thanks for your help,
