In doing a bootstrap of fink 0.16.0 under Panther, I noticed
that afterwards when I did a 'fink selfupdate' selecting the rsync method that only the local and stable directories were
created in /sw/fink/10.3. Is there an appropriate way to get
the /sw/fink/10.3/unstable branch to be retrieved using rsync?
rsync only downloads trees that are enabled in the Trees: line of your fink.conf. Enable unstable and you will get unstable packages. ;)
