I've been using OroborOSX 0.8.5 with XDarwin 4.2.0 on Mac OSX 10.2.x for quite awhile (since late 2002). I'm in the midst of a monster update-all as a result of switching to gcc 3.3. One of the biggest packages being compiled is xfree86-4.3.0-15. Assuming I'm able to get everything updated, I figure if I'm burning all these electrons compiling this stuff maybe it's time to consider switching.
I've been blissfully ignorant of what OroborOSX does on my behalf when I start it. What do I need to do to switch over to an X environment which is fully fink?
