Hi,

I just installed Panther. As I erased my disk beforehands, I'm now
reinstalling fink.
I have not been able to install leafnode.
It compiled, built the .deb but won't install.

% fink install leafnode
sudo /sw/bin/fink install leafnode
Information about 1110 packages read in 2 seconds.
The following package will be installed or updated:
 leafnode
dpkg -i
/sw/fink/dists/stable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/net/leafnode_1.9.40-1_d
arwin-powerpc.deb
(Reading database ... 4131 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking leafnode (from .../leafnode_1.9.40-1_darwin-powerpc.deb) ...
cat: /var/run/inetd.pid: No such file or directory

You should write to the maintainer. This package will have to be modified, inetd is not used any more on Panther.
