Trying to install kdelibs3-3.1.4-11 (10.2-gcc3.3/stable) I always get the following error:
mv /sw/src/root-kdelibs3-3.1.4-11/sw/lib/kde3/plugins/designer/*.so /sw/src/root-kdelibs3-shlibs-3.1.4-11/sw/lib/kde3/plugins/designer/
This error showed up previously at <http://article.gmane.org/gmane.os.apple.fink.general/10266>, but there was no solution listed.
I know the FAQ says this isn't the real error, that someplace earlier there was a compilation error. But my compile log doesn't go back far enough. How can I send the compile output to a text file I can later search?
Actually it does go back that far, because I made a debug directory during the kde build for just such occasions (if you haven't rebooted =)
The failure is probably at the bottom of /tmp/kde-build/kdelibs3*.make
