I finally got kde running again by "fink rebuild"ing qt3, but I'm having an
annoying keyboard problem. My shifted arrow keys and several other
keys (*, +, ?) are getting their wires crossed. For example, if I run kcontrol,
go to the Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Shortcuts, pick an action, and
try to assign a shifted arrow key to it I get odd results:
If I assign: I get:
Shift+Left +
Shift+Right *
Shift+Up Shift+/
Shift+Down Shift+=

Furthermore, in Konsole if I have multiple tabbed shells open in one window
and I try to type "*" it moves to the next tab. Similarly, "+" moves me to the
previous tab. Shift+Up works properly (scrolling one line up) but Shift+Down
moves to the previous tab.

I've checked with xev and it seems like proper keysyms are being produced for
each key involved. All other X programs I've tried work properly with shifted
arrows.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
