So, I'm trying to build something that's not part of Fink. The ./configure command is throwing errors, complaining (for example) that I don't have libjpeg or Qt installed (I do). Any general suggestions as to what to do to solve this?
What I'm trying to build is Rekall.

Also, generally for Qt stuff you need to do "--with-qt-dir=/sw --with-qt-includes=/sw/include/qt" (or add /sw/include/qt to CPPFLAGS) since we have qt headers in a non-standard location for reasons of conflicts with other headers.

If we didn't, we would have made something else be the default. So keep your cotton-pickin' hands off our defaults. Don't touch. Consider them mandatory. "Mandatory defaults" has a nice ring to it.
