Thanks for the tips. I downloaded and installed the December 2002 Dev tools, and the Aug 2003 update. However, this was the result:
Failed: This package must be compiled with GCC 3.1, but you currently have 3.3
selected.
To correct this problem, run the command:
sudo gcc_select 3
You may need to install a more recent version of the Developer Tools to be able to do so.
I tried the command suggested, but just get "command unknown." Any further suggestions (especially how to select the 3.1 gcc if necessary) appreciated.
Hmm, .../usr/sbin/gcc_select 14,648 Fri May 16 07:12:25 2003 ====>/Library/Receipts//August2003gccUpdater.pkg/Contents/Archive.bom
Are you sure you installed the August2003gccUpdater and you have /usr/sbin in your PATH environment variable?
