The download URL for this package (<http://www.mikmod.org/files/ libmikmod/libmikmod-3.1.10.tar.gz>) leads to a file with the wrong size and an incorrect checksum. When I tried to access the directory containing the file to see what was going on, I was redirected to an "adult" site. :-\ After some googling, I did find another download URL for this package's source code (<http://site.n.ml.org/download/ 20031016164525/mikmod/libmikmod-3.1.10.tar.gz>), and the package built without any problems. I would have contacted the package maintainer, but there isn't one.
