Sorry for posting here as I am new to Fink (but not to Unix or Linux). I thought I should post here just to let you know that I'm experiencing the same problem as d0k (i.e., dpkg-deb says: "exit error code 10" described in post: "last call: error fink selfupdate) when I try to do a selfupdate.
I ran kextstat and saw only apple kernel extensions. I also noticed that before doing the selfupdate "Fink Commander" showed that my dpkg package was out of date. This can't just be a coincidence can it? Is there potentially a problem with the new dpkg version 1.10.9-26?
