GNOME 2 and gnucash should get along fine.

I'm not sure about the issue with date-manip.

Subject: [Fink-users] gnome 1.4 and gnome 2 coexisting, and a random install
problem

I currently have the gnome 1.4 libraries installed on my machine
(using 10.3 branch of fink) because they are required to get gnucash
running, however now I also want to try and get gnocatan installed
(http://gnocatan.sourceforge.net/), which requires some gnome2 libraries
(libgnomeui2 and glib2 i think).

Will installing the gnome2 libraries break gnucash or anything else?

As a side note, when I was installing gnucash I ran into an interesting
problem w/ the date-mainp-pm perl module in where it would fail a few of
the testcases (t/events i think), however this got fixed by just
keep on running it until it passed all teh testcases. Is this a known
problem w/ this package?

Thanks,

Hubert
