I just upgraded to gcc3.3, did:

fink selfupdate
sudo /sw/lib/fink/postinstall.pl
fink selfupdate
fink update xfree86-rootless

all of which (apparently) completed successfully. I will note that the xfree update is from the unstable tree (i.e., 4.2.1.1-18). When I run XDarwin, it fails as shown below both when I double-click the XDarwin icon and when I run from a Terminal. For testing purposes, this is using the xfree-supplied xinitrc, and this is darwin 10.2.8.

Any clues on what I can do to fix this? Should I just uninstall xfree, then re-install from the stable tree?

Thanks,
Mark
