and sorry to bother fink people again with xdvi/tetex problems. I've upgraded tetex to 2.0.2-34 today and my xdvi from tetex (which was finally working fine with the previous tetex package) detects the following error (also after a reboot) :
Xdvi Error: Could not find config file xdvi.cfg in path
"/sw/share/texmf/xdvi:/sw/var/lib/texmf/web2c:/sw/share/texmf/web2c" -
disabling T1lib.
Direct Type 1 (PostScript) font rendering has been disabled. [...]
To fix this error, check that xdvi.cfg is located somewhere in your XDVIINPUTS path.
Have a look at the xdvi wrapper shell script [...] for the current setting of XDVIINPUTS.
