OK, I've been following the discussion on how to get bonobo built and I've tried the suggestions offered but the build always ends with
libtool: link: cannot find the library `/sw/lib/libfreetype.la' make[2]: *** [bonobo-moniker-gunzip] Error 1 make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2 ### execution of make failed, exit code 2 This is on my G4 laptop that has been upgraded to Panther. Here are the software details: [EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# fink --version Package manager version: 0.17.1 Distribution version: 0.6.2.cvs I'm running Apple's X11 version 1.0 - XFree86 4.3.0 In trying to get this to compile I've done the following 1) Made sure that all freetype stuff is removed 2) Reinstalled X11, the X11 SDK and the Xcode tools 3) Changed from cvs to rsync updates for fink 4) Read lots about fink, OS-X and libtool 5) Watched lots of cricket as things compiled Now I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but what? In addition, having moved to rsync updates for fink I can no longer recompile applications that I installed from the 10.2 stream. Any pointers on how I can get back to recompiling evolution (for example) would also be appreciated. -- Huw Davies | e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Melbourne | "If soccer was meant to be played in the Australia | air, the sky would be painted green" ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
