I just copy the current ethereal.info to local path on fink and modify to reflect to the 0.10.0a version and try to compil and it works.
If needed i can send the .info file.

There was a revision released a few days ago to the ethereal packages currently available in Fink, so you might try a selfupdate and see if that helps.
