I didn't see anything about using Fink with Darwin for x86 (if I missed this please point me in the right direction). Will Fink work with x86 chipsets? If yes, does it work as well as it does under Mac OS X?
If you look through the archives, you will probably find three persons who run Fink on Darwin/ppc and one who runs it on Darwin/x86. It works, in principle, but seeing that it doesn't get any testing, it would be rather surprising if it worked well.
