Hello I would like to down load fink packages and/or source to a FreeBSD system. Here is my situation, my brother has recently purchased a ibook with 10.2 connected to the internet through a modem. I would like to download the packages and burn them to a cd.
I was thinking fetching the directories using ftp I need from. Is there an ftp site that has these packages? What directories do I need to download? I have read through the user documentation and I have not found any information on the directory structure ftp server and how the port collection is updated. Are the file in dists/10.2-gcc3.3/release/? Does 10.2 refer to the OS X release number or the fink port release (dumb question)?
