Hello fink users,

I have upgraded emacs to version 21.3.50; the final package installation failed due to auctex.
So I removed auctex by a "fink remove auctex" and I did a "fink reinstall emacs21" successfully.
I then tried to "fink reinstall auctex" which did not succeed; here's the output:

dpkg -i /sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/editors/ auctex_11.13-11_darwin-powerpc.deb
[...]
Unpacking auctex (from .../auctex_11.13-11_darwin-powerpc.deb) ...
Setting up auctex (11.13-11) ...
install/auctex: Byte-compiling for emacs21... done.
Symbol's value as variable is void: fink-emacs-flavor
emacs-package-install: /sw/lib/emacsen-common/packages/install/auctex emacs21 emacs21 failed at /sw/lib/emacsen-common/emacs-package-install line 30, <TSORT> line 1.
dpkg: error processing auctex (--install):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 255

I think one of the scripts has to be changed but which one? I've tried to see in auctex.info and patch and emacs-package-install but I don't know which script has to be changed.
Thanks in advance for any help!

B. Martin
