Well, it turns out I misread my list of installed packages. I have
id3lib4-shlibs and id3lib4-dev installed, not id3lib3.7. I guess
id3lib3.7 is the sticking point after all. Hopefully the flac-nox package
I was able to install will suffice. Sorry. :-\
